Notice to Hollywood's self important Morons

I once enjoyed watching the wonderful art, that was a product of Hollywood. I now have become so jaded thanks to the self important morons, that I admired for their artistic abilities to take me away from reality for at least a couple hours a week. I do not have a difficult, boring, or strenuous life, that I need to escape from, nor am I fighting for my country, life, or fellow servicemen anymore. What I do like about films, like so many people is the chance to escape a while, and enjoy life through someone else's life. Unfortunately, I cannot enjoy it anymore due to the fact that so many actors, actresses, and comedians have taken an opposing view to what I feel near and dear to, freedom from terrorism. Don't misunderstand me, they have a right to their opinion, as every person in this great country does, but the abuse of their celebrity to shout their opinion for the world to see, is destroying their business and my entertainment.
Why does a celebrity deserve to have  more influence in this country than the wonderful men and women that give them their freedom to have a different view? I cannot understand for the life of me how an actor can don a uniform, play a brave part, make money for it, and then protest the operations that our military performs. I think you have lost touch with reality, when you think that you are an authority on the subject of war when you haven't served in combat, studied the subject as a history, theory, or a practice, and your only gleaming piece of ethos is a movie you did for money once upon a time. How does one feel comfortable in one's skin, playing a part in a film, that seems to be so different than one's core beliefs? Would Rosie ODonnell play a gay bashing bigot? Or Steven Spielberg product a film called "Adolf Hitler, The Greatest Mind Of The 20th Century"? I don't expect to see that in my lifetime. So with that being said, the lame excuse of playing a part that is so different from the person you are, gives the best performance in art, must only apply to the cash cow of war movies for Alec Baldwin, Martin Sheen, Mel Gibson, and Sean Penn. Sorry guys, when your opinion differs from the parts you play, your performance is as believable as John Rocker teaching Spanish.
I've got a simple solution for all of you, lets see you don the real uniform. No, I don't mean join the military, my fellow Marines need people with real backbones watching their back. I want to see you go to Iraq or Afghanistan, embed yourself for a week without the entourage, personal security, or the gleaming cameras for your candid. Lets see if the friendly terrorist give a crap that you are a celebrity. Maybe then you'll understand what is at stake, or at least gain some humility, to understand that your opinion is no where near as important to be heard by the masses in this country, than the men and women in our military in harm's way.
Just for giggles here is a list of the outspoken who cashed in on war films before they developed their arrogant ignorance: Sean Penn, Mel Gibson, George Clooney, Martin Sheen, Robin Williams, Oliver Stone, Tim Robbins, and John Cusack to name a few.

Crusade Anyone?

Well, I must inform everyone I am not catholic, but I do enjoy history, and sometimes marvel at how often it repeats itself. As you may have seen on the news or on you favorite website or blog, radical nutballs calling themselves muslims are directing their hate to the new Pope. I find this interesting since there is no other religious body, outside of Islam, that can so quickly go radical than Catholics. When Catholics hear attacks on their Pope, they often take it as an attack on their Religion, or even themselves. There is an estimated 1,118,991,000 Roman Catholics in the world, and if they fall in line with their Pope, there is a serious problem arising for you if you are a muslim. It will be interesting to see who backs down first, the radicals, the Pope, or the Vatican (to let the Pope save face). If the Pope has conviction of his beliefs in his thoughts and ideas, then 1,308,941,000 muslims may be getting a morning wake up call real soon.
There is possibly a lot of pressure to come from Iran and the leaders of this movement to back off, because they have done a good job so far not to drive the Christians in this world to unite like the muslims in France, England, Africa, and The Middle East. These radicals are not stupid, they know that there is twice as many Christians in the world, than there is muslims. They are cold, calculating, and extremely patient. They do not wish to fight a war, they want to be a nuisance until they have numbers that are closer to being equal, before they try to fight that battle.
If they miss their opportunity, or the Pope doesn't change his position, then Chavez may feel the pressure of his 96% Catholic countrymen to change his choice of muslim associates. Any attacks on the Pope could easily change many Democrat Catholics' view in this country, on it's leadership and how the administration has been fighting the war on terror.
It would be a great time for the President to meet with the Pope and draw an association in the muslim world's eyes, and create some friction that could open the eyes of the millions in this world that truly doesn't get what's going on and what is at stake. I know everyone says that the radical terrorist are perfurting Islam, but lets be realistic, this is a holy war in the making. If you need proof, look at how many so called good muslims are standing up in defiance of the radicial terrorost. Who's side do you think they'll be on if the terrorist have the upperhand? Maybe it's time for people in Christianity to spread the gospel, have a crusade, or at least finally admit that this is an attack on Christianity as much as it is an attack on the west.
A few questions I leave you with; If Islam is at war with the west, and non-muslims, then why don't they attack churches? Would an attack on the Pope when he visits Turkey in November, wake up the sleeping masses? How quickly will the muslim leaders quiet the protesting?
